Cuyler Robinson has expertise in digital forensics, information security, and incident response. He leads complex investigations of trade secret theft, cyber security incidents, data privacy breaches, and other disruptions that threaten a company’s integrity or value.  

Mr. Robinson frequently reports his forensic investigation findings to counsel on behalf of company management and boards. He has testified in U.S. state and district courts on matters involving trade secret theft, data authenticity, and spoliation of digital evidence. Mr. Robinson has also served as a neutral forensic expert, appointed by courts and parties, to supervise and analyze digital evidence.

Mr. Robinson has been recognized by Who’s Who Legal in its Investigations Digital Forensic Experts publication. In addition to expert work, Mr. Robinson serves as Chief Technology Officer for the Forensic Services Practice and led efforts that resulted in achieving the ISO27001:2013 information security certification.

Mr. Robinson is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), a Certified Information Privacy Technologist (CIPT), a GIAC Certified Forensic Analyst (GCFA), and has received extensive training in information security, incident response, data privacy, and digital forensics. He is a member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) and is a former Co-Chair of its Chicago KnowledgeNet Chapter. He frequently speaks at industry conferences on forensics and security and has written for publications such as Technology for the Litigator, an American Bar Association publication.
